Zero-tolerance: content endangering minors
ToonMate has an absolute, zero-tolerance policy against any content that sexualizes, endangers, or otherwise exploits a minor, in any form, real or AI-generated. This applies platform-wide and without exception, including within the supervised Young Creators feature, whose own additional safeguards (adult review before generation, child-safe style steering, and automated content moderation) exist specifically to support this policy — not to replace it. Any account found engaging in this is terminated immediately and reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
Consent for real people's likenesses
You may only upload a real photo of yourself, or of someone else with their genuine, informed permission, to generate an avatar or talking avatar. Using someone's likeness without their consent — including generating a convincing avatar of a real, identifiable person who has not agreed to it — is prohibited.
Other prohibited content
Beyond the zero-tolerance rule above, you may not use ToonMate to create, upload, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal where you or your intended audience are located.
- Depicts or promotes real-world violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Is hateful or harassing toward an individual or group based on a protected characteristic.
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property, including by reproducing copyrighted material you do not have rights to.
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to scam another person (including deceptive deepfakes of public figures presented as real, unlabeled footage).
- Contains malware or is intended to compromise another system or account.
Prohibited platform conduct
Separately from content itself, you may not:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or manipulate quota, wallet, spending-cap, or rate-limiting controls.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract ToonMate's underlying models, prompts, or source code beyond what the API is intended to expose.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits, referral rewards, or competition eligibility.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or other tenants' use of it.
- Resell platform access itself (as distinct from selling your own finished creative work, marketplace listings, or a properly licensed white-label arrangement, all of which are allowed under our Terms of Service).
Content moderation
Where enabled, generated images pass through an automated content-moderation check before being returned to you; a flagged result is recorded but not released. This is a real, meaningful safety layer, stated honestly: it reduces risk, it does not guarantee every possible violation is caught, and it does not replace your own responsibility to follow this policy.
Reporting a violation
If you encounter content or behavior on ToonMate that you believe violates this policy, report it through your in-app Support page, or our public Contact pageif you don't have an account. Reports involving a minor's safety are treated with the highest priority.
Enforcement
Violating this policy can result in content removal, feature restriction, or account suspension or termination, at ToonMate's discretion and proportionate to the severity of the violation — up to immediate termination and, where legally required, a report to law enforcement for the most serious violations.
